Probably next weekend here. We traveled for a wedding the week before Thanksgiving, then traveled again for Thanksgiving, so our house needs some general TLC before we can think about decorating it. It looks like a bomb went off in here.
We have a prelit tree with white lights. My husband has allergies so he doesn't like getting a real tree, and he has something against colored lights (which just makes me want to use them MORE. Bwahaha.)
My family always got a real tree growing up, and I would love to get one, but the hubby nixes it. After my parents ended up with a bug infested tree last year (ew ew ew....it makes me shudder just thinking about it), I don't think I'll ever be able to convince him to get one
