I love these pictures. Its like Christmas threw up on that tree. I've never seen so much tinsel.

We LOVED our tinsel. Us kids would throw it on by the handfuls and my mom would try to neaten it up later.
For years I thought a Christmas tree looked "naked" without tinsel. Back in the 50's and 60's that was the way to decorate your tree. I finally got away from it and haven't looked back, though sometimes I do miss it
