I always experience increased shedding, gradually beginning in December and continuing through April and into May. In January, it's in full effect--I feel as though I'm going to go bald. And I ask the same question every year and freak out all over again every year, as if it's never happened before!

There's nothing you can do if the shedding is coming from the scalp, which if it's true "shedding," then it is. If it's due to breakage or increased tangling, then you'd need to find a product with better "slip" to facilitate detangling. I'm not a true product junkie, so I don't have any suggestions for a good detangler. I just wanted to commiserate with you and share my own yearly shedding experience.
