I love Spike and Quentin. i think they are both awesome filmmakers and story tellers. its a shame they cant patch up there relationship.
Django was just as QT discribed it in an interview i saw. a spagetti western, with a bit blackplortation through about slavery. he did the film because he felt the youth of today has fogotten about slavery or seem to ignore it. in the interview he said that he has come across alot of young people both black and white who felt that slavery happened a long time ok and it had nothing to do with them, he felt that it shouldnt be ignored or forgotten. I enjoyed it. it's not for everyone. not his best, not his worse. i was expecting more. i loved the fact jamie foxx was so involved in the film; he used his own horse, he help do the soundtrack, he even picked out the horrible teal blue outfit.
