Hi keyykie777!

You're actually supposed to comb all of your hair during your transition. If you don't, the new growth will just get tangled, making the process a whole lot harder. Get in the habit of combing your hair only when it's wet and has a lot of slipper conditioner in it. Divide into several sections, and comb through each section: starting with the TIPS of your hair working your way up to the roots.

Hope that helps!
