I don't know any books about breaking up. Its never easy. But I can tell you that focusing on you & your own happiness more than ever will help. Volunteering & being active in your community will also help put things into perspective. You are not the first person to experience an inconsiderate person & you won't be the last. But you can fill your life with great experiences that push ol boy right out of your memory.
