Getting a specific style is really tricky w/our hair due to variance in pattern, density....I've found a great stylist, although not Deva-trained, is sympathetic to curlies (which is half the battle) and LISTENS. She understands that importance of "soft" layers, scissors cutting only, and is happy to use the products I bring with.
