I was diagnosed with PCOS in early 2011. I was losing hair like crazy.
I read somewhere that vitamin E is supposed to help balance your hormones so I decided to give it a try, since elevated DHEA levels were the cause.
I can't say for sure it worked because for all I know it's a miracle... but I lose a normal amount of hair now. My other symptoms seem to have gone away as well (acne, plus I didn't get my period for an entire year and now they come every month)
Maybe I'm just lucky, but it doesn't hurt to try. I never made any dietary changes because I'm a junk food addict and I just can't give it up.

I also heard turmeric tea was good for PCOS. I tried but didn't stick to it, mostly because I'm pretty fickle.
