Pretty much everything I did over the years was crazy, ridiculous, damaging, and a terrible waste of time, money, and tears.
Ironing it with a clothes iron.
Rolling it up in soup cans.
All manner of perms and straighteners.
Flat irons and crimpers.
Salon hair cuts.

Life is sure better now that I just let it do it's thing. And finding cheap products that keep it healthy and help it look great (most of the time) is a bonus.
