I totally agree with the OP. I was having the same problem with my hair. I finally buckled and got a trim. As a result of not trimming regularly they ended up having to cut way more off than I wanted because it was so dry and damaged. I had no split ends but the hair was still damaged. The ends of your hair will always be the driest because the are the oldest parts and have had so much exposure to the elements. Once I got a trim my hair was like new again.
