I usually shower at night, and I plop for about half an hour before taking my hair down and sleeping with damp hair. My hair isn't long enough anymore to pineapple, so I sleep with it down.
In the morning, I turn my head upside down and spray it with water and scrunch. I also twist any little sections of curl that didn't stay defined and then use hairspray for hold and definition. When I diffuse my hair on the rare mornings when I get to shower, I use a curl definer, but it doesn't work so after I sleep on damp hair.
