I mixed a can of coconut milk with about 2-3 tablespoons of coconut oil and let it sit for a couple of minutes while I detangled my hair in the shower. When my hair was about 90% dry, I applied the mixture and I could immediately feel my curls clumping, loosening up a little and detangling. I also rubbed some in my scalp. I wrapped a plastic bag on my head and let it sit for about an hour or so and then rinsed it out completely, then low-poo'd it. There was some mixture left over in the bowl, so I added a bit of my conditioner (I use HE) to it and put it in my hair for a couple of minutes while I ran my fingers through my hair. I rinsed it out and my hair was SHINY and felt so much stronger than it was before I did this. Combing it was a BREEZE and I'm just so happy with the results, thought I'd share it with the world lol!
I would do this every other day if I could, but I read that coconut milk has proteins, so I don't want to go overboard with the protein treatments.
so i was wondering can i put coconut milk in my shea mix
You would need to add a preservative to make it shelf stable
can i use honey as a preservative
