Is your daughter's hair strand size fine or medium? Do you comb her hair while the conditioner is still in the hair? I'd leave a little in, add a little bit of gel and then braid the hair to dry. Not sure if you've used Tresseme Naturals moisturizing conditioner or Shea Moisture coconut hibiscus conditioner.
