Not exotic, but not eaten by many and that I love are persimmons and kumquats.
Plus pomegranates, tomatillos, starfruit, yuzu and dragon fruit

I like sour fruit that is not super sweet, so I typically prefer fruit that is not quite or just becoming ripe. Many of these fruit stay sour even when ripe so they're favorites.
