My hair was dry, brittle, broke off, and my curls had become limp waves. And not the pretty waves, pathetic sad waves.
CG brought my hair back to life, and taught me how to care for it, and how products effect it.
However I think that is more the key then no silicones.
Really, if your hair gets weighed down easily, silicones are extremely light, from what I'm told.
I'm just using them in moderation. If I low-poo anyhow, what's it going to hurt?
Now that I'm educated on curls, moisture, protein, etc, I can do silicones right this time. Before I used to put layer upon layer upon layer of them. Now there is one non-build-up silicone in the mix. I'm still doing everything else the same, but adding that one cone in and keeping tabs on it.
