I work out 5x a week and I'm a heavy sweater too (I can literally wring the sweat out of my hair) and I just cowash every morning with a light weight conditioner and then follow up with a heavier conditioner. I only use shampoo 1x a week because you really don't need it to remove sweat...the conditioner is enough to do that and it won't strip your hair.

Today i was tempted to do a WO wash, but i had some styling product residues on my hair so i decided to do a CW
My hair is thin in density and -fortunately- unwilling to knot, so i can do all the wash/condish routine with only one product
P.S. : i'm on fitnesspal, too (even if i don't take part in the forum )
