Ok, here's my attempt 3 report:
Today I low pooed with a keratin poo (has coco betaine, tho I'm not sure that that factors in here). Then I used a CG RO, followed by my a-cone condish. I just used a small amount, combed it through, and rinsed it probably 50-75% out.
I did everything else just as I normally would (not that the shower routine was all that different, actually).
Results: good! Curls formed well, little to no frizz at the end of the night, clumps have stayed clumpy... All in all I'd call it a good hair day. Yes, I've had better, but I'm happy with the results! And the OC'd issue wasn't there, no frizz problems, no drooping... I think the weather was a factor before, and too much of a heavy condish, and needed more protein.
So I'll keep going on this path for a bit, so a couple CG days in there to compare and contrast, and see how things progress!
