My hair frizzes in humidity too or at least it used to. It's been good now when it rains. It even gets curlier. I attribute that to using the right products. Skorpio, I would also say my hair is curlier in front, even at the root for some reason. My hair has a 3b underlayer instead of a straight one but I'm not sure where that places me on the spectrum. I'm not easy to weigh down because I'm also coarse and highly porous so I think I share attributes from all 3 hairtypes 2C-3B but I average them out since it looks mostly 3A and if I style with something with a harder hold (the sorts of things that unfortunately dry my hair out) my curls tighten up very nicely into spirals.
Lady Plymdale - how are you doing in your quest for a protein/moisture balance? I just asked a question about this myself because it seems like my hair properties are at odds with one another.
