First off, your hair looks great man. It looks like you're off to a great start. For me, moisture is also an endless battle. Here are some basic things i would recommend:

-Stop using "traditional" shampoos and opt for some that don't contain SLS and the like. Usually the more natural (and legible) the better.

-Find a loose satin cap or pillow case to use at bedtime. This will help greatly with the matting and overall lack of manageability with coiled hair. I can personally vouch for this.

-Given that your hair seems to be around the later 3s and 4a hair types mostly, I would recommend using some butters or hair pudding type products. They might give you greater moisture and control over your mane than products lighter in consistency.

-Be encouraged. The more you learn about your hair and how to take care of it. You may find that its even more enjoyable down the road. Hang in there.

I hope this helps!

PS Don't use a blow dryer unless you absolutely have to.
