Oh my goodness flippalicious you're absolutely right. I forgot to mention that. If I were to part my hair more to the left to compensate it would curl more because it would clump into ringlets. That was another technique I used to even things out and also one that I found could exacerbate the problem because if I parted more to the right then the right side that was already mega curly would get even curlier and make the left side look flat. I like parting my hair to the side and not sticking to the same thing everyday. Now with my new haircut I think I may be able to but I'll keep you posted if I learn anything new. Oh and do experiment with parting with your hair! Left, right, middle and in between. One of them is bound to work for you.
