Yeah, I haw felt that way at times too. It was explained to me that they have spent a lot of extra time and money to get these specialized educations on curls, and also that typically curly appointments take longer than regular ones.
I've felt that way before since I get charged more for having long hair. Seems unfair to me. They don't charge by thickness/density, they don't charge by type of cut, or how much they are cutting off, but if I go to just get a trim I pay more bc my hair is long?
Long AND curly... And poor... This is why I cut my own hair. It doesn't look as good as it could, but what can one do?
