Hi! Sure you can cut your own hair! Just make sure you have a trimming scissor (a regular scissor will cause split ends). I've been trimming my own hair since a couple of months! It's not difficult at all I do it when it's wet and I cut off an equal part from each section.

I think it's very easy to cut curly hair; because it's curly you won't be able to see it when you make tiny mistakes.
