Around here, Deva is a love/hate line. Many of us start out with it, think we like it and then move on to other things that we like A LOT more.

Once you discover your properties, look for people with hair like yours and see what they use. It's the best place to start.
My hair prefers the more natural products from the online, boutique type companies. I use a lot of rich products; however, my hair finds the SM products really heavy, if you understand the difference.
In general, you'll find that you use a lot less of the "better" products, which tends to make them more cost effective then one might think.
