One possibility could be that these companies are copying the ingredients but mixing themselves, so they can leave things out...I'm just not sure I want to risk it.
I'm actually not one of those people that runs from cones or mineral oil, I don't think they're bad ingredients at all. But they should be removed properly. The only reason why I'm avoiding them is because I wash/DC with clay.
Thanks CurlyOne I'll go back and read things a bit more carefully and see from there...my hair has been perfectly fine and without buildup, if that can attest for anything.
Edit: Heyyy I didn't know mineral oil/petrolatum were easily removed? I'll dig a little to be sure but thanks!
