Hi there! I tried posting this in the main forum but no one responded, so trying here:

I'm 13 weeks pregnant, and mostly my hair is loving it. (It's thicker, softer, and has gone from being 3b to more like 3a -- which is a fun change. Also, almost NONE of it ever falls out anymore when I cowash. I never brush, so never had that problem.) But I'm getting a lot of breakage around my hairline, too.

I don't pull the hair back tight or do anything harsh to it. (I'm totally CG, never use metal barrettes or elastics, anything like that.) I'm wondering: Do I just need to add extra protein to my routine? Or get some long, sideswept bangs cut in? (Hair is BSL.)

Any advice much appreciated!
