I have a broken ankle right now, and it's going to be probably 5 more weeks before I'm allowed to walk, but I want to get into some sort of core strength routine (whatever I can do in my current state) because it's something I've been neglecting for years despite doing lots and lots of running.
I want to really start strengthening as part of my normal workout routine, and it is my goal this year, while I am physically incapable of running a whole bunch of miles, to stop being lazy about it and make it habit.
I have no weight goals. I'm somewhat forced into being sedentary right now, so I would be shocked if I didn't gain weight. I'm just hoping to also gain some muscle
