I've never had my hair done by a stylist. I would love to have a Deva trained specialist style my hair just for the experience. I cannot style my hair soaking wet, just doesn't work for me. I can leave in lots of conditioner though, just like Lorraine Massey advices, as long as I either plop or scrunch with a MF towel or T-shirt first and Then I can add my Stylers and re-plop or scrunch with a MF/T-shirt. Everyone is different though. I have also tried styling my hair like the Jessicurl demos in sopping wet hair....uh NOT for me either.

Although, this makes me wonder if I'm just not adding enough styling products to my hair when trying that method and that's why it doesn't work for me??? Hmmm, you have me wondering. I believe I will experiment a little more with this method.
Note to self: add more product to sopping wet hair.

I say do what works for you. One great thing about NC.com is how curlies share their experiences, favorite products and techniques and that's how we all eventually and hopefully find what works for us individually.
