Terrifying moments in history can unfortunately be rather interesting. I hate that any of it happened, period.
On a side note: I am at least glad that people are now sharing stories of the unknowing workers. In situations like the Manhattan Project its always been from the male, leader, perspective. It's about time the women (citizens) left behind, in the secret cities, were heard from.
ETA: (meant to add) It is sad hearing about the animals, but I am sure it is an accurate way to test some levels. I get annoyed by titles of Chernobyl video's and stories. "Hunting Mutant Beasts", calling people the mutants of Chernobyl, etc. I can only hope that more tact is used in similar situations. That, and hope it never happens again.
When I hear terms like "
" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
