Yesterday I used a lot of leave in--my Curl Enhancing Smoothie since it almost acts like a gelly for me. I mean a lot. Maybe two quarters and a half's worth. For added hold. Granted this was in sopping wet hair and then I scrunch squeezed out all the water with an MF towel. Then maybe 2x more KCCC than I usually use to really coat the hair and set it. Then I actually bothered to clip my roots with the alligator clips. THEN I pixie diffused. For maybe seven minutes with my hair first down and then tossing (gently) all around so my curls would fall where they would but not during the diffusing. The result is the two best hair days I've had since going CG. My hair has natural volume already but it has more than usual without being huge and it is extra curly too. I got crazy crunch yesterday though. I was in a rush to scrunch it out so I could go grocery shopping. But so far I'm pretty happy. . .
