I know it might not be entirely CG, but you may want to consider investing in a good boar bristle brush (BBB). I still try to brush my hair once a week, but I used to brush every night. You need to get that sebum (oil) from your scalp onto the ends of your hair. A BBB will help distribute those nourishing oils where you need it. Just make sure you detangle with a wide toothed comb or your fingers before brushing!

You may also find benefit in oiling your ends with a high-quality, hair friendly oil. I use sweet almond oil, coconut oil, monoi oil and/or grapeseed depending how dry my hair is. I also oil my ends before washing my hair (1 - 2 times per week) for at least 30 minutes. *Every* night, I rub at least 3 drops of oil to my ends. A little goes a long way.

My hair is about 3 inches away from waist and I plan to grow it to tailbone length. Happy growing!!

I have olive and jojoba oil; I wonder if either of those would be good.
mostly 2a/2b hair, fine, medium density, low porosity?
