It is definitely worth it because it is so cheap here that you don't have much to lose! It is less than £2 for a big pot I think, and since you don't need much it lasts a very long time. If you do really like it you'll have some heavy bags to cart home!
I used to use and like it, it doesn't give massive hold from what I remember. I think you'll like it. The only reason I don't use it right now (although I have some upstairs!) is because it can be a little bit drying - I maybe imagining that effect but since my hair has been damaged I don't get on with it so well. I never noticed any drying effect when my hair was in better condition though. I might try it again now you've reminded me!

Highlights damage (growing it out), seems to like protein and need lots of moisture.
