I am high porosity too, which means our hair loses moisture easier. We just have to take extra steps to keep it moisturized like sealing our products in w an oil or butter, and using protein regularly also will help your hair hold onto moisture. If the hair feels dry it usually is, high porosity hairs problem is that it LOOKS dry when it isnt.
