Thank you guys for the input. I will try your suggestions. I will get him a satin pillowcase as well, i always knew I needed to do that honestly.
A lot of the problem is motivating a young man to take better care of himself and try a little harder. I'm hoping if he follows these suggestions, especially the picking it out in the shower with some conditioner, I think that sounds like a great idea. I didn't realize we could possibly get the mats out with water and conditioner and patience. He knows the ladies love his hair, haha.My hope also is that if he does take better care of it and make it always look as beautiful as it can be then maybe more employers will not turn him down.
