My hair is indeed very dry but I also tend to run my hands through it a lot to give it volume (flat on top). However, going to see a curly hair specialist this week so I'm excited.

Oh and I love the idea of coconut oil and honey in hair...will give the treatment a try!

Stop with the running your hands through your hair, that will make it poufy and frizzy and can cause mechanical damage. Get root lift from products and techniques, including clipping your roots when wet, diffusing upside down or massaging the scalp when dry.
