Looking at the first five ingredients ... babassu oil is rich in lauric acid so can penetrate, the eicosenoic acid in jojoba oil cannot. Also glycerin is higher in the CJ so it's likely slightly heavier on the humectants and lighter on the oils relative to the SS. SS contains hydrolysed protein, CJ only contains amino acids which are too small to adhere and likely to wash away.
i would choose based on your dew points/ humidity or whether your hair likes protein.
