My latest issue (on my last TWO batches!!) is I'm getting this grit in my gel.

I thought it was the potassium sorbate, so I pre made a solution to make sure it was fully dissolved.

I made FSG last week, used the solution, and had no grit.

Now I'm thinking it must be the thickener! I didn't use any in my FSG. I used xanthan gum in my 1st gritty okra batch, but this time I used hydrocellulose (or however you spell it).
