I want to add to the OP, that if you use a low-poo with cocamidopropyl betaine or coco betaine in it (like the YTCukes), you can use silicones. I'm just saying this because I know you've been struggling and if you need to take a little break from full CG or need to look nice for an event or something you can use any old silicone products that used to work for you without "repercussions." CG has definitely benefited my hair and I would encourage you to keep experimenting, but it's always good to have an silicone option if you need it. As far as sulphates, you don't need those.
