Another tip! I just tried this method that I saw from AfricanExport where she braids only about halfway and then twists the rest. It worked well for me and made it easier for me to unravel but gets my roots a little more stretched from the braid at the top than a twistout would. Also, as some of the other ladies mentioned, I moisturize my hair before I take my braids/twists out and then I seal. I usually do it before I shower and by the time I'm done, the moisturizer has had time to absorb a little so it's not too wet when I take it down, just soft so it's easy to unravel.
