Basically, you just need to keep things balanced--moisture and protein. The high density effects the way you apply product--you need to be careful to coat all of the hair with product. You may want to "section" your hair to improve distribution.

Unfortunately, this whole process is a lot of trial and error. Finding out the products that your hair likes.
