Amodimethicome is supposed to resist build up.
Amodimethicone and other Amine-functionalized Silicones

Build up of any product is best removed by either sulphates or cocoamidopropyl betaine, acids are unlikely to do it they just help the cuticle lay flat. Baking soda probably will but is alkaline so damaging to both skin and hair. You can use shower gel if you don't have a sulphate shampoo.

Styler: Umberto Giannini jelly, Au Naturale styling gelee
Flour sack towel, pixie diffuse or air dry.
