I may have made a mistake going grocery shopping after work. I was so exhausted I could hardly see, and now I am wide awake. At least I have everything I need and I won't have to go anywhere after I get up. I can take it easy, clean, at get ready for company tonight.
I couldn't help but wonder how many 911 calls came in about kids walking to high school. I passed 8, before the sun came up. It's been several years since I have seen that. I live in an area that's pretty safe where this is concerned, and we have a nice wide sidewalk all the way from town to the school. It was made for walking (though it would be 3-7 miles for some but an easy walk), but yet people over the past 10 years have treated walking like it's a crime. Especially if you're a woman or under 18. I want to yell, "shut up! you're grandma walked to school 15 miles, by herself, thru the woods, at 6." No kidding.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
