Now this sounds super moisturizing :-) Can I substitute the glycerin for vegetable glycerin?

I have super dry hair and for the past month I started using a coconut oil mixture of:

1/2 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp glycerin
1 drop vitamin E
2 tbsp hot water

I mix these together an use it as a conditioner. I rinse it out and it detangles and smooths. Then I put a tiny bit more on after on my ends and my hair is so soft and defined.

Here is an article about controlling curls that addresses dry hair.
