I am glad she is drinking on her own. She is normally a handful and I did not want to break out the droppers. I would if I had to, though.
I was always one of those kids with 5 kitten bottles and several cans of unsweetened condensed/evaporated milk on hand (before kitten replacement formulas and recipes). I would take care of the runts that didn't want to eat, the stray babies that somehow ended up at my house or were found by friends, and those that my cats refused to nurse. I knew they had a reason, and the kitten would not make it, but I tried anyway.
Little Bit was my largest challenge. She will eat you up!
When I hear terms like "
