The challenge rules that I commit to:

Healthy diet with lots of water
No heat styling (at most once a month)
No harsh chemical treatments (relaxer overlap, overlapping color treatments or color with perm, etc)
No excessive hair trimming (at most 3 times per year)
No fine-toothed combs or brushes
Low manipulation as much as possible

Other techniques I intend to use for hair growth and retention. For example:

Protective styling: braiding maybe after 8 months into the challenge
Low poo once a month and co-washing once a week.
Regular scalp massage with coconut oil or olive oil
Vitamins and supplements:MSM and Biotin. Might add a women's multivitamin

Bagging during week of doing inversion method

Techniques and products you will use to keep your hair strong and moisturized:

DC: either Luster YOU Repair Treatment or Creme of Nature Jojoba & Olive Oil Moisture-Active Deep Conditioning Treatment. DC once a week.
