Who knows what the next evolution will bring. I always wonder who in the heck is bringing it. Considering that the tribe changed the name of nothing in my area, and went on with business as usual, I knew it wasn't them. Not everyone agrees, people have different reasonings and preferences. Nothing wrong with knowing the context and respecting those preferences.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
