So I got my first ever curly cut today and I'm so happy with the results. It was way more than I expected to get cut off bc I want nothing more than long curly hair BUT I'm transitioning and it is 3 days shy of a month that I started to transition. So I think this is a great start! My stylist was great and explained that I don't really have a particular curl pattern now bc I'm transitioning but in the past 27 days my hair has already managed to grow an inch of healthy curl at the root!

She said I need to focus on moisture right now so I bought the products she used on my hair at the salon. They aren't exactly curly girl but I think I should let my curls come back first before I delve into the curly girl method full blown. What do you guys think?

Oh and the first picture is my "before" hair.
