Back on Fargo. I have one more episode to finish. Hopefully I will make up my mind by this one. I want to love it. I know some things won't be the same. The main focus on a very pregnant, small town, police officer working a cluster murder case by herself was freaking brilliant in 1996. You still saw very few women (if any) on police forces in rural areas at that time. I know my town had one woman on each department and they were their first female hires. That would not bring quite the same punch today. So, woman has a boss that doesn't listen to her. Meh. Who doesn't have that most of the time? I am still waiting for the over all magic. I see glimpses. I have hope.
When I hear terms like "hipster" I think, who told cliques they could leave high school??
