That reminds me time to rotate back in the cj HB leave in
My hair is dry today, I needed a DT anyway but of course proteins and dry weather hasten this. Time to add some jojoba to my conditioner looks like.

I'm still liking the WG but I'm still figuring out what to layer with it and what conditioner works best under it.

Here's a little tip: I use about a dime size of the CJ H&B leave-in mixed with Recoil whenever I use Recoil, plus the Abba WG on top. Works great.

Damn you all to 'no products available forever' hell. Why oh why do I read on this site??? I just have to try anything anyone mentions. Sometimes I can hold off the PJ Monster if I have to order it but if it can be found within a hour drives (or some place where I have to travel for work) it must be bought!!!!!

I tried the Weightless today. Boy does this stuff smell good, and it's all pink and pretty. I know I'm a dork, but they should seriously put it in a clear bottle.

I like it so far, my hair has a lot more volume tha usual. I mixed a nickel's worth of GF Curl & Shine with a dime of recoil and applied it to dripping hair. Then I scrunched in some Weightless, scrunched with a paper towel, and scrunched in a tiny bit more gel into my ends. I think I used too much becuase I had a really hard time getting the crunch out. The hold feels almost like BRHG, but the result is so much better! I will keep playing with it this weekend. Since the hold is so good, I'm hoping it will make curls souffle work for me.

It's so incredibly light that I have a hard time scrunching it sometimes. I have to take a handful and just scrunch inward a few times. I tend to use a bit also.
How wild is it that it's a gel and doesn't weigh down you hair?

I agree they need a clear bottle they're not taking that pink color seriously enough.
I can't convince my S/O to try it though because it's pink OH well more for me!

Hmmm, maybe that was the difference in the dark blue bottles and the cream/pink ones, because the gel in the blue bottles is blue with sparkles, and I thought that was cool! Now I want pink though!

Medusahair, I found that person on ebay who sells it cheap, but she only ships within the States. Grrrrr.

Hmmm.... My bottle is dark blue with beige branch/seaweed-looking things. I was completely surprised when I opened it and squeezed the bottle to see a pink, sparkly gel come out. I mean, what's the point of making it pink and putting it in a blue bottle where noone can see it? I wonder which color is newer pink or blue? I got my bottle at Trade Secret, but they were all quite dusty. I hope they stick with the pink though, for the pure enjoyment I get from seeing pink sparkles in the morning.

Is yours pink or blue? I know I'm being silly, but I'm getting really hung up on the color now.

Umm- I remember it being clear with sparkles. ha I've only used it a few times, but I think I would remember it being pink. So it was probably the blue one. I'll take a closer look when I get home. LOL

Mine is a dark blue bottle and the gel is white with sparkles.

Have you used both formulas? I'm always wondering if there's any difference.

I've been getting good results from it! But my hair does feel a little weird when I use it, a little dry and kind of like I have a really thin film over my hair.

my hair has been feeling dry with it too. It kind of seems like a reaction to protein, except that my hair likes other products with protein. It's less smooth and a little bit tangly. I might just be using too much of it because I get some major hold with this stuff.

I get major hold from it too, I figure I must be using too much. I haven't experimented with it for a bit. Lush's hair always looks nice with it but mine is real dry and lacking in curl but it does have tons of volume.

I guess it takes a bit to figure out how much to use and maybe how much leave in to leave under it?

I also feel like I may be using too much. But it's soooo thin, I tried using less one time and it felt like there was nothing there (so, of course, I added some more! heh). I don't normally have issues with protein either, but this stuff is really loaded with them, so who knows!
