i'm a newbie here, but i'm pretty sure this is my favorite thread on here! i just went through the entire thread and its amazing how much everyone's hair has grown! it definitely motivates me to keep experimenting with my hair no matter how many times i fail!
i'm long over do for a wash but this is my hair today, nothing special. (a bit frizzy in spots and i still have relaxed ends that need to be trimmed.)

It was bad... I am sooo SORRY...
Tuesday evening, I co-washed. Then I had to help someone do something on the computer. By the time I was done, it was nearly 9pm and I was tired. I just wanted my hair de-frizzed and not too wet before bed.
After wetting my hair again, I parted it into four sections. (It's usually eight. My hair is quite voluminous.) In an attempt to get it to dry faster, I slathered L'Occitane Smoothing Gloss (mostly glycerin - I won it - yay...), along with Carol's Daughter "Healthy" Hair Butter (oils, shea, and BEESWAX).
I knew instantly it was a tragic mistake. It was like putting paste in my hair! Again... I'm tired. So I wet it again to try to get rid of the pasty-flakiness and then used the blow-dryer. Even with the diffuser, my hair was getting bigger and BIGGER and POOFY! 
It was the dark cloud of doom growing on my head...
My hair has been up in a bun until today.
Tonight, Friday, I felt the need for a "do over". That means pulling out the sulfates! (That's right. Complete with the lather, rinse, repeat.) I followed that with a deep conditioner and went back to my trusty Tresemme Naturals Conditioner and Biotera Gel.
I apologized to my curls during this whole process and they are happy (shiny and bouncy) again.

Wow Bekka that is a great wash n go! I love that cut too, honestly I'm 2 months away from finally getting the last 2 inches of my relaxed ends chopped off, and I think my hair will be about your length. Is your hair still wet in the pic? Because my hair would look like that damp, but when it dries Im afraid it's going to expand. I LOVE how simple wash n gos are but my hair is always really poofy by midday.

Thank you! And yes that was my hair dry. On a 1st day wng my hair is usually pretty flat. On the 2nd day I can get volume, but I mostly re-do my wng daily.

washed and dc'd last night refreshed today with lavish curls and goddess curls by curls pinned up the sides and attempted a pomp.

Wash n Go - nothing special
I conditioned it with Infusium 23 Moisturize that was left on like a leave in. The near center part is a coincidence.

add Long Aid or Infusium 23 condish to dripping wet hair
finger comb through to blend product
twist into a ball to squeeze out water
gently pat drippies with a towel
