How was it? My biggest problem with twist outs and such are the puffy frizzy roots. I don't know how some people get them so smooth without making their twists super tight at the scalp.

No no no!
I've been trying to do a wash-n-go (like I do everyday) but for some reason my hair looks like a big frizzy mess! I can't figure out why.

Weather change? A few degrees can make a big difference for your hair. I know that the 70s vs. the 80s/90s for me are a whole different ball game, product wise. My body doesn't usually notice 78 vs. 82, but my hair sure does.

Hard-hat hair.
It looked so beautiful in it's wash and go before I left for work though - I almost died inside (because I only get fabulous hair on the weekdays... >.<).
I've been getting super shrinkage lately. I like it. It comes with a little frizz, but I think that just makes me look a little more.... untamed. *grin*

On second day hair, I did a high pony tail puff, styled with a headband.

I'm in the middle of cornrowing my hair lol.... i hate cornrows on myself usually because I'm early 20s but people think I'm about 18, and cornrows make it worse, but I'm gonna be so busy this week, so I don't want to have to do my hair in the mornings.
ETA: please excuse the background lol.... moved in 2 weeks ago and havnt decorated yet, we are still at the stage of making it just comfortable and unpacking boxes.

I did my first twist out in a while for my friend's birthday last night, using Shea moisture curl milk and olive oil as a seal to twist it the night before. I took the twists out just before I went out last night, and it started out relatively tame then got wilder and bigger as the night went on (not complaining)..
Had a lotta travelling to do today, so I just let the steam hit my hair in the shower and piled it to the side of my head with a bit of jc nourish and shine to keep it moisturised while I travelled home. Got a few shocked looks on the train when I whipped my head scarf out so I could have a quick nap, but all in the name of beauty I guess!

Your hair looks stunning! Definitely inspired me to do some more updos, what products did you use?

@Dlooker1
Thank you! I just sprayed my hair with a little water, added a little Tresseme Naturals & smoothed my edges with Ecostyler gel. Pinned with bobby pins. Keeping it simple!
I must admit that because I was trying something new it took some time to grow on me. Other than a pony puff it is the first updo that I've worn. But, I decided to be brave because I've been getting bored with my hair.
Your hair is beautiful! I'm looking forward to my hair getting longer to do a little more with it.
